MüGa: Nature that connects Mülheim
Like Darlington Park at Broich Castle and Styrum Castle Park, the Stadthallengarten is also part of MüGa. The MüGa Park was created in 1992 as a project of the State Garden Show. The park is proof of how the Ruhr region has changed. A region has emerged from the gray coal-mining area that combines industrial culture, nature and community.

Summer tip for families: water playground
Water march! The water playground in the Stadthallengarten combines fun and cooling off. Children love the stations where they can play to their heart's content: Dams, scoop wheels, water whirlpools, flying water jets, the rain canopy and much more.
The water playground is located directly at the Stadthalle parking lot, Bergstraße, below the Ruhr RS1 high-speed cycle path (old railroad bridge).
Open-air events in the Stadthallengarten
Whether it's the Mölm funfair, beer fair or dragon boat festival - big events await you in the Stadthallengarten, especially in summer. Where there was still a large chain carousel in July, numerous breweries invite you to a tasting in August. In September, various clubs, companies and groups of friends set up camp in the Stadthallengarten and compete in the Ruhrarena.
In January, the medl winter barbecue proves that barbecues are not just for the summer. Fire pits, lounge corners and live music make for a cozy weekend on the Ruhr.
