The "Old Trainstation Hützemert" is an ideal stop for a stay on your way between Rhineland and Westphalia. During the opening hours you can fortify yourself with coffee, cake and other drinks.Find out about events in the historical house.

After the trainstation in Hützemert on the railway line Siegburg–Olpe was completed in 1903, Hützemert quickly developed into the largest village in Drolshagen.
There was passenger traffic here until 1979. In 1997 the railway line between Olpe-Dieringhausen was finally closed.

This listed station is the only one of the three former stations in Drolshagen whose reception building is still standing. In 2013 the Hützemert village association began to renovate the historic house.

As part of the two cycle paths “Bergischen Panoramaradweg” and the “Agger-Bigge-Runde”, the "Old trainstation Hützemert" became an attractive snack station. A freight car was integrated into the building and is now the stage of the event hall, where concerts and many other activities take place. The old steam storage locomotive “Emma” (built 1914) is the attraction on the outside area.
