    333 steps - from the Hennepark to the Hennedamm

    Climb the imposing Himmelstreppe (stairway to heaven) on the Hennedamm and reward yourself with a wonderful view out over the regional administration and university town of Meschede and the Hennesee lake.

    You have to have seen the Himmelstreppe at least once during the twilight hours. The illuminated ascent to the embankment at the top is simply worth seeing and is a must during any visit to Meschede.
