Visitors young and old can look forward to great plays year on year.

The high season at the Herdringen open-air theatre in Arnsberg is during the summer months, but plays are also performed during the winter. Parents and children enjoy the new plays by the amateur company, which are produced with great enthusiasm all year round.

The team at the Herdringen open-air theatre performs a play for children and a play for adults. With a great deal of verve, colourful costumes and enjoyment, the amateur actors are a great hit with the audience, year in, year out.

The summer theatre season runs from May to September. The winter play is decided at the start of October, and is performed in the “Spielerheim” space. It is designed to be performed in a room, with space for 80 people.

The Herdringen open-air theatre in Arnsberg has been in existence since 1954 and offers the audience around 800 covered seating spaces, with a good view of the stage. Thanks to modern, electronic voice and sound transmission, there are good acoustics for all seats.
