The museum shows the development of Medebach from a farming town to a holiday resort. In the adjoining Hansa Hall is the model railway layout for the Steinhelle - Medebach narrow-gauge railway.

There is a lot to discover: Five chronological rooms about the town's history, three themed rooms, the geo and history portal, four digital media stations and the model railway for the Medebach-Steinhelle narrow-gauge railway.

There are hands-on packs and interactive stations for children.
