Körnerfeld Gallery - Körnerstraße

One of the biggest challenges for street art creators is finding free spaces in urban areas that can be designed with their art. It is not uncommon for the artworks to be perceived as disfigurement and immediately removed.

In Körnerstraße, however, local residents decided to offer street art a stage and installed the Körnerfeld Gallery along the entire street in 2020. People can spray, glue, paint and paste whatever they like on certain walls and wooden structures specially built for street art. This is where the local street art scene runs riot and thus plays a significant role in the visual design of the street.

The popularity of the open gallery can be observed, especially when it is visited several times at short intervals. There are always changes to notice and new, small works of art by local and international street artists to discover.
