The colourful façade represents a typical work by the Dutch artist Zedz. On the one hand, it plays with the architecture of the building, while on the other, it incorporates classic graffiti - with a little imagination, the name Zedz can be recognised or found.
Zedz has been working as a street artist since the mid-1980s. A designer by training, he works as a freelance artist and his work focuses primarily on the dimensions and boundaries of graffiti, architecture and expressive typography. His works in public space raise questions in this context: How do we conceptualise urban space, what design options do we have, are there alternatives?
