Calisthenics Park Büren

n the immediate vicinity of the municipal indoor swimming pool, the "Alte Schanze" sports center and the Büren comprehensive school, there is now another special feature: a publicly accessible calisthenics facility is now open for outdoor sports activities.

The term "calisthenics" comes from the Greek and means something like "beautiful strength". It involves bodyweight exercises that are suitable for all ages, as they can be adapted to suit individual abilities. Pull-ups, press-ups and squats are some of the best-known calisthenics exercises.
