Church

St Mary's Church in Ahlen is a listed Roman Catholic church building. The origins of the church date back to 1250 with the founding of the parish. The first documentary mention dates back to 1283. After almost 600 years, the church building was demolished and replaced by a new building in neo-Gothic style. The mighty west tower is particularly striking.
