    The Beckum city model in the St. Stephanus provost church shows the city layout from 1805. Many historic buildings disappeared from the cityscape in the course of industrialisation. However, the medieval structure is still reflected today, particularly in the layout of the streets in the town centre. The historical structures that have grown up within the former town walls are illustrated by the town model.

    Parking
    Visitors can park in the paid Elisabeth car park. Parking is free of charge on Sundays and public holidays. The maximum parking time is 4 hours.
    Journey
    By car via the A2 motorway (Oberhausen-Hannover) to the Beckum exit. Turn right towards Beckum. In the town centre, follow the signs to the hospital. From there follow the car park guidance system.
    Arrival by public transport via Beckum-Neubeckum railway station with connections from Bielefeld, Dortmund, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Essen, Cologne and Münster. There are several bus routes from the station to Beckum town centre.
