The castle church at Diersfordter Schloss, built in rococo style in 1780, was badly damaged at the end of the Second World War. It is also possible to get married there.
Immediately after the end of the war and under British occupation, the commander set about rebuilding the castle. The Diersfordt castle complex, built in 1423, is idyllically situated in the middle of an unspoiled natural landscape between wooded nature reserves and a beautiful lake, approx. 6 km from the center of Wesel.
The castle is privately owned by the Beichert family and can be hired for celebrations and conferences.
