Information for cyclists
The Münsterland has a 4,500 km network of well-signposted cycle paths, making it an ideal destination for cyclists. The town of Borken, located in the lowlands, is also connected to this network. Various cycle and themed routes invite you to cycle. There are many exciting and interesting things to discover - including smugglers' trails into the neighbouring Netherlands.
The Burlo-Vardingholter-Venn and Entenschlatt nature reserve is also connected to the Münsterland cycle path network. The nearest junction with the number 25 is very close by and can be the starting point for the "Hohe Mark RadRoute" and the "Flamingo-Route". They invite you to enjoy exciting cycle tours close to the German-Dutch route.
