historical building

The Groß Reken fire brigade, founded in 1908, used to use the "Alte Sprizenhaus" as its fire station. The neat building from 1910 is particularly striking due to its 10 metre high tower. Hoses were hung up here to dry after operations. There were also three detention cells for offenders, which were also used as sobering-up cells.

Today, a bicycle shop sells its products in the historic building.
