Park/gardens

The Wolbecker Tiergarten in the east of Münster is one of the oldest forest areas in the region and is a nature reserve. Old oak and beech trees, winding paths and species-rich flora and fauna characterise the historic forest area. As a former prince-bishop's hunting ground, the zoo today offers a natural environment for walks, cycle tours and nature observation. Information boards provide information about the history, ecology and special features of the forest.
