Hiking parking lots
The almost 13 km long route is marked with a black "E" on a yellow background and is easily recognizable. For the most part, it leads along the tree line around the only longitudinal valley in the Wiehengebirge. From the beautifully situated viewing tower, hikers can also enjoy impressive views of the North German Plain. The route is also ideal for inexperienced hikers.
Sturdy shoes are recommended.
A worthwhile detour slightly off the actual route is the restored Limberg castle ruins - first mentioned in a document in 1319 - with its beautiful nature reserve and forester's lodge.

- "Balkenkamp" hiking parking lot, Burgstraße/Zum Limberg, 32361 Preußisch Oldendorf
The Tourist-Info is open Mondays to Fridays from 9 - 11.30 am and from 2.30 - 4.30 pm.
