Herford station

The fourth unsignposted route from the nature cycling guide leads through the south-west of Herford and is a perfect circular route for all nature lovers in good physical condition. The route starts and finishes at Herford railroad station.

The connecting element is agriculture: old decorated entrance doors on farms. Grain, cattle and organic farms accompany you on this interesting circular tour. Directly beneath the wheels, you can still "experience" in person that there is a field above and a meadow below. Old and modern lie side by side in the landscape: half-timbered houses, modern art, old farmsteads with newly transformed buildings. And it still exists: the skylark, which is known as the heraldic bird of farmers.

Further information on the route and the waypoints can be found on the Herford district cycling leisure website: www.fahr-im-kreis.de. A brochure is also available to download there.
