Paderborn: Vom Dören in den Seskerbruch

Way description - anticlockwise

From the parking lot, drive past the cemetery entrance and the bus stop in the direction of the nursery - straight ahead on the cycle/footpath - at the end turn right (Dörenerholzweg) - now slightly uphill - at the junction after almost 600 m turn left - at the end (at the Schoenstatt chapel resp. at the end (at the Schönstatt chapel or before the railroad embankment) turn left - now downhill - the path bends to the left - 300 m later there is a junction: turn right here (Dörenerholzweg) - turn right again at the next junction (Belmer Weg) - keep right at the fork - almost at the end of the Belmer Weg (at a farm) turn sharp left into the Bücklerweg - after a good 1.5 km (3rd possibility) continue on the Bücklerweg. Turn left onto Bücklerweg (Dörenerholzweg) - continue straight ahead on the path (Dörenerholzweg) over two crossroads - turn right onto the cycle/footpath known from the outward route and return to the parking lot.

This tour is a circular route. You can therefore start and finish at any point along the route.

We recommend protective equipment (helmet and protectors), drinks and provisions if necessary.

Take the A 33 freeway to the Pad-Zentrum exit; then stay on the B 64 towards Bad Driburg. Take the PB-Ost exit and follow the K 29 (Osttangente) to the "Friedhof auf dem Dören".

There are usually plenty of parking spaces available at the cemetery parking lot (destination address: Im Dörener Feld 27, 33100 Paderborn).

Take the city bus line 7 (PaderSprinter) to the stop "Friedhof Auf dem Dören".
