Beverunger Stadtspaziergang - Auf den Spuren des Bibers

Would you like to explore Beverungen on your own? We invite you to take a short, historical walk through the town.

There are several interpretations of the name of our town. One of them goes back to the Low German form "bever" for beaver. The Bever stream flows into the Weser just above the town, and Beverungen was built on its alluvial cone. The historical walk through the town offers you an insight into everyday life - yesterday and today.

The approximately 2 km long circular route through Beverungen starts at the Tourist Information. Here you will receive a flyer that will guide you to the places worth seeing.
