The 49 km long and signposted cycle tour leads to places of interesting economic sectors & various historical transport routes - suitable for more experienced cyclists

The eastern part of the district has always been characterized by Vlotho's convenient location on the Weser. Indispensable as a transportation route, numerous companies settled near the port. Rails and roads were added, the special features of which are presented along with a number of interesting industries. Today, in addition to brass instruments and wheelchairs, a whole range of other goods make their way from here to the rest of the world.

Further information on the route and the waypoints can be found on the Herford district cycling leisure website: www.fahr-im-kreis.de. A brochure is also available there as a free download.
