The trail, marked with the orange symbol of the Clarholz monastery complex, is quite easy to walk, varied over forest paths and roads, but not necessarily suitable for baby carriages. For example, a smaller, charming section of the trail on the eastern edge of Clarholz leads along an idyllic path through the forest. In principle, it doesn't matter where you start the tour, as it is a circular route that you can walk in either direction. If you start in a northerly direction, you will be rewarded with a beautiful avenue view of the monastery at the end of the tour.
Please stay on the paths.
Sturdy shoes are recommended.
The museum in the Kellnerei is open on Sunday afternoons. It's always worth taking a look in the monastery garden. Idyllic!
