The tour begins at Kurpark von Nümbrecht and then continues past fields and forests to Nallingen, where you can visit the stud farm. Then on to the “gold village” of Marienberghausen, many times winner of the national “Unser Dorf soll schöner werden” (Our village should be more beautiful) competition. In the village, the “Bonte Kerk” (colourful church) invites you to visit with its brightly coloured ceiling design. Various places to stop for refreshments provide an opportunity to take a little break. The next destination is Lindscheid, where you will find the only fruit juice press house operated in the Oberbergisches Land. A wide variety of local products under the “bergisch pur” brand can be purchased at the farm shop. You then continue on the Benroth, which was selected in 1991 as the model “ecological village of the future”. Finally, you cycle past fields to the picturesque timber-framed village of Bruch before returning to Nümbrecht via Distelkamp and Ödinghausen.
