The nature discovery trail around the Lügder Schildberg invites you to explore the fascinating flora and fauna of the forest with all your senses.

Our forest has many important functions: It protects the soil, provides water, ensures clean air, supplies us with wood and is home to many plants and animals. The 4 km long nature discovery trail uses child-friendly information boards to convey interesting facts about the forest. The stations awaken the children's creativity and curiosity and take them on an exciting search for clues.

There is plenty to discover: the children can try out how to make a phone call to a tree, test their jumping ability against the animals of the forest and rest on the cozy forest benches. The children also learn why it is so important to protect the forest and what rules of conduct should be observed.

The question of whether witches really still live on the Schildberg and what the strange stones in the thicket are all about is also explored.

The adventure trail is also exciting and educational for parents and grandparents.
