from Erndtebrück to Wingeshausen, approx. 23 km and 1,387 metres in altitude,

from Wingeshausen to Bad Berleburg, approx. 10 km and 598 m difference in altitude,

from Bad Berleburg to Girkhausen, approx. 19 km and 462 m difference in altitude,

from Girkhausen to Hatzfeld, approx. 29 km and 1,288 m difference in altitude,

from Hatzfeld to Richstein, approx. 10 km and 571 m difference in altitude, and

from Richstein to Bad Laasphe, approx. 10 km and 371 metres in altitude.

Sturdy shoes and possibly hiking poles are recommended.

Why not take a detour to the Wisent Wilderness or visit Berleburg Castle? A detour to the Drehkoite in Girkhausen is definitely worthwhile. In Beddelhausen, pass the pebble-slate quarry and cross the arched bridge.

From Bad Berleburg, take the B480 to Raumland-Markhausen. in Raumland Mark-hausen turn lef to the L553 direction Dotzlar. In the centre of Dotzlar turn the L718 an follow to  Bad Laasphe.
