A hiking trail through the Kneipp spa town of Bad Münstereifel
The EifelSpur Kneipp hiking trail is almost 16 kilometers long and leads around the Kneipp spa town of Bad Münstereifel.
The starting point of the hike is the historic and listed town center of Bad Münstereifel. But you soon leave the town center and climb up into the Bad Münstereifel forest nature reserve to the Holzapfelweiher pond. Feel the power of the water along the bubbling streams. Enjoy the scent of herbs and medicinal plants as you hike through wild meadows and herb meadows. There are always impressive views over the Eifel landscape. Here you can let the wind blow around your nose and take a deep breath. Towards the end of the circular walk, you reach a fallow deer enclosure and cross the spa gardens of Bad Münstereifel. Here you have the opportunity to invigorate your tired legs by treading Kneipp water. Finally you reach the town center of Bad Münstereifel again.
