Circular hike with great views around Trimbs through the idyllic Nettetal valley in the Eifel region
Through the blooming floodplains of the Nette valley, across rare rough pastures and past rugged slate cliffs, the hike on the Nette Slate Dream Trail leads up to Trimbser Schweiz. Magnificent views over the wild Nette valley, the expanse of the Maifeld and the volcanoes of the Eastern Eifel characterize the hiking route to Burberg. Along the murmuring Nette, you reach the 200-metre-long, illuminated Hausen 2 tunnel, at the end of which unique views of the Nette viaduct await. After quiet forest passages, the trail descends steeply into the Nette valley.
