In the area between the Lindenhof in Niederscheidweiler and Hasborn, the route takes on an almost Alpine character on the 2-streams path. The terrain around Oberscheidweiler and Niederscheidweiler is characterised by Devonian bedrock. The plateau is usually used for agriculture and the steep inclines to the Alf and Sammetbach streams are covered in wild woods. A real surprise tour. Hikers can enjoy a pure nature experience.
