Valley station of the Drachenfelsbahn
Directions
We start our hike at the Drachenfelsbahn valley station and follow Winzerstraße in the direction of Nachtigallental. There, at the entrance to the Nachtigallental, we turn left into Hell.

Drachenburg Castle, Nibelungen Hall, Willi Ostermann Monument, Dechenden Monument with a view of Drachenburg Castle, tufa caves along the hiking trail, cog railroad to Drachenfels
Getting There
A3 Siebengebirge exit, then to Königswinter-Zentrum (on the Rhine) and follow signs to “Drachenfels”; A59 and B42 Rhöndorf exit: follow signs to “Drachenfels”

Parking spaces in the old town of Königswinter, Drachenbrücke and Palastweiher
Public Transit
DB RE8, RB27 to “Königswinter Hauptbahnhof” or streetcar line 66 to “Königswinter Fähre/SEALIFE”, walk approx. 10 minutes to the starting point, timetable information at: www.vrsinfo.de
