From the hiking car park, you first head towards Lückert - national winner of the "Our Village Has a Future" competition - to turn left before entering the "Gold Village" and reach the highest point of the route on a moderate uphill path. From there, you get a good impression of the special topography of the area: on the one hand, extensive plateaus and on the other, deeply cut stream valleys, typical of the Sieg natural region. The hiking trail leads you gently down to Lückert, past the village community center with a rest area (free WiFi) and into the town center. Vegetable gardens, small farms, cold-blooded animals and sheep characterize the townscape. The trail continues to Löbach and there through a belt of orchards over a small bridge into the Ravensteiner Bachtal. From the valley, the trail leads you slightly uphill to Löbach, from where you turn into the more wooded part of the hiking trail. Towards the hamlet of Darscheid, the forest thins out and orchards in typical local locations dominate the landscape again - replaced by solitary trees, which are ideal for photography. From here, it is not far to the starting point via the path lined with meadows and pastures.
