The Bad Salzufler VitalWanderWelt offers two selected hiking routes with varying degrees of difficulty as well as all the benefits of the brine and Kneipp spa.

Both hiking routes, the 5 km Salzetal tour and the 7.7 km Obernberg route, lead past fitness equipment in the landscaped garden. Pack something to drink in a sturdy rucksack, put on comfortable walking shoes and grab your walking poles for the hiking excursion through the Salzetal, which is well worth experiencing. Along the way, you will find comfortable benches or even relaxation loungers for a soothing break in the middle of nature.

We start at the transition from the beautiful and lovingly designed spa gardens to the landscaped gardens. We are greeted by quacking ducks and swans as they make their rounds on the lake.

The Salzetal hiking trail can be hiked in both directions at any time. It runs parallel to Extersche Straße along a former railway line and bird aviaries with cheerfully chirping birds entertain hikers. You will also come across signs for the barrier-free hiking trail on this circular tour.
 

River experiences on the Salze

The northern part of the landscape garden nestles seamlessly into the Salze valley and along the Salze meadows.

At an avenue of poplars, we cross over to the banks of the species-rich Salze and return to the Kurparksee lake. After a hike, you will find cozy beer gardens or cafés by the lake for refreshments and healthy refreshments. Alternatively, relaxation loungers and high benches invite you to relax and observe the flora and fauna in the Salzetal valley.
