Directions
There are many attractive waypoints to discover on this tour, such as the Marbeck Home House and the listed railway station. The nature reserve "Die Berge" offers a picturesque hilly landscape with charming views and the Gemen castle landscape with the Sternbusch forest park is also a special highlight. The district of Weseke has special features to offer in the Quellengrundpark around the Heimathaus and a worthwhile detour is a perennial garden near the Bockwindmühle. In the north-west of Borken - directly on the Dutch border - is Burlo with its monastery and Heimathaus. Passing the Klostersee lake and through farming communities, you finally reach the PröbstingSee recreational area with a climbing forest, boating, swimming, playing and relaxing on the "BelleVue" platform. One of the most beautiful parts of this tour are the river meadows and landscapes on the way back to the cosy Borken city centre.
Track Signage
For individual and flexible route planning as well as easy orientation during the cycling tour, cycling by numbers is a good choice.
By following the network of junctions, you will find a junction at crossroads or junctions. The number of the junction is clearly visible above the destination sign of the familiar red and white signage.
In addition to the local and long-distance destinations with kilometre information, inserts under the signposts show the directions and numbers of the nearest junctions. Intermediate signposts take you to the next destination signpost.

Additional Information
City of Borken
Borken, a district town in the heart of Westmünsterland and bordering the Netherlands, offers culture, nature and history on a tour of the town centre. The town still has five town towers and remains of the old town wall from the Middle Ages.
Marbeck Heritage Centre
In the Marbeck Heritage House, a popular meeting place, the dedicated members of the Heritage Association have set up a Münsterland farmhouse, a coach house, a typical farm garden and a Kneipp water treading pool to invite visitors to linger and relax.
"Die Berge" nature reserve
The nature reserve "Die Berge", also known as the "Fliegerberg", is a valuable natural area in Borken. It is a sandy hill that was once used for gliding. Here you will find an almost unreal landscape that you can explore on unspoilt paths. The area offers a real nature experience.
PröbstingSee leisure park
The PröbstingSee leisure park is a recreational area with many water-related activities. Young and old alike will get their money's worth here. For stargazers, there is a miniature model of the sun on the eastern shore. The planet trail starts here.
