    Over a length of 2 km (approx. 3 km from the parking lot) and at 9 adventure stations, spruce mikados, summons and hammocks invite you to experience the world of the forest with all your senses.

    Our forest in the Sauerland is experiencing stormy times. Hurricanes before and after the Kyrill 2007 major event hit him hard and caused serious damage. The forest fairy path on the Hängeberg deepens the insight into the forest habitat in the past, present and future. The forest fairy path is an ideal family hiking trail with a length of 3 km and an easy to walk route with really interesting stations for children and adults. The forest fairy as a symbol of the Brilon forest provides interactive and informative suggestions and food for thought to understand this important natural area on our doorstep in the course of time.
    If you want to go longer, you can tackle the geological jump themed path - the start is identical.

    Vom Parkplatz mit der Infotafel geht es über die Straße am Landgasthof Gruss vorbei. An der nächsten Weggabelung den linken, geschotterten Weg nehmen. Nach ca. 100 Metern erreicht man schon die 1. Station - das Baummikado. Dann im Uhrzeigersinn den kurzen Anstieg Richtung Station 2. Anschließend folgt man immer der "kleinen Waldfee" rund um den Hängeberg, bis man wieder zur 1. Station gelangt.

     

    Unterwegs finden Sich zwei Schutzhütten (bei Station 8).

    Festes Schuhwerk ist hilfreich.

    Der Weg ist kinderwagengerecht - allerdings besteht der Untergrund aus Schotter, daher ist eine Luftbereifung empfehlenswert.

    Südliche Ortsrandlage von Brilon, an der Schnittstelle der Straßen B251 und L870
