Short and varied - for a relaxed round trip on the water with the whole family

The second Weser loop starts at junction 32 at Kanzlers Weide in Minden, invites you to explore Minden's city center and follows the Weser cycle path to Petershagen and back.
At 28 km, this route is relatively short, offers several rest stops, passes farm stores and cafés as well as a playground and is therefore particularly family-friendly. In addition to the rest stops along the Weser, Petershagen invites you to take a break.
Please note: When crossing the Weser at the weir in Petershagen, there are a few steps to negotiate and the opening times must be taken into account. As the weir is closed in winter, you can alternatively cross the Weser by adding KP 1 and 18 via the Weser bridge on the L770.
It's otherwise worth allowing a little more time in Minden - for exploring the waterway junction, for a guided tour of the Weser lock or for a trip on the White Fleet, it will be a great day out!
