Cycling around Ibbenbüren

The circular route leads along the Dortmund-Ems Canal to Hörstel-Riesenbeck. Then it goes through the camp and Sinninger Feld on shady paths to Saerbeck. The tour continues through the Saerbeck wetlands. Here you should take your binoculars and stop at the observation tower to watch local and migratory birds, and not just in spring. The circular route leads along the Dörenthe water conservation area on paved paths to Dörenthe. With a view of the Dörenthe cliffs, the route leads along fields and meadows, accompanied by the Dörenthe Mühlenbach stream, back to the starting point.

First, the cyclists follow the Dortmund-Ems Canal to Hörstel-Riesenbeck. The route continues through Lager Feld to Saerbeck and on through the Saerbeck wetland nature reserve. The tour leads back to Dörenthe along the Dörenthe water conservation area.
