    The "Ibbenbüren water-rich" tour tip is around 27 kilometres long and leads from the city centre via the Teuto to the Dörenthe district. Experience the idyllic landscape and discover how surprisingly rich in water Ibbenbüren is. Along the way, you will also find numerous excursion destinations, such as the summer toboggan run, the NaturaGart park, the botanical garden and Ibbenbürener Aasee lake.

    After the tour, Ibbenbüren's city centre with its numerous restaurants, bistros and street cafés invites you to take a stroll and rest.

    The tour starts at junction 5 on the corner of Groner Allee and "An der Aa" and heads towards junction 14. After the hilltop, turn right onto the local cycle path network into Brumleyweg towards Riesenbeck. At the Brumleystraße junction, follow the signs to Riesenbeck and then follow the Dortmund-Ems Canal cycle path towards junction 14. At Münsterstraße in Dörenthe, turn left into "An der Blankenburg" until you reach the cycle path sign. Follow this in the direction of junction 15, then junction 35, 3 4. Cyclists have reached their starting point again at junction 5.
