Directions
The cycle tour around Ennigerloh begins in the historic town centre, the Drubbel. The starting point is characterised by striking buildings such as the Jakobi church and the Drubbelhäuschen. The route first leads towards Westkirchen, past active quarry areas. A bridge offers an impressive view of the active quarry with its various layers of rock.
The route continues to the Ostenfelde district. Cyclists can optionally take a detour to Vornholz Castle or the ruins of Nienburg Castle. After Ostenfelde, the route leaves Ennigerloh and heads towards Oelde. Along the way is Haus Geist, a farm dedicated to the production of horse muesli.
After the tour, cyclists can refresh themselves in the Ennigerloh natural swimming pool or visit the Alte Brennerei Schwake, a cultural centre with stages and exhibitions.
The tour takes in both the 100 Castles Route and the Cement Route, which offers historical and cultural sights. The route is approx. 26 km long and leads mainly along tarmac farm tracks.
