Rosengarten Seppenrade
Rosengarten Seppenrade
Directions
The 2.2 kilometre circular trail starts at the rose garden in Seppenrade. There is also a replica of the largest ammonite in the world. This was discovered in Seppenrade in 1895.
The tour leads along the main road past the old Kock inn to the church square with St Dionysius Church. In the centre of the village, it is worth taking a look at the traditional Hotel Mutter Siepe and the Gänselieselbrunnen fountain.
The vicarage and chaplaincy are located on the way to Wolfsschlucht gorge. The viewpoint above the Wolfsschlucht gorge is definitely worth a stop. The path then leads through the small nature reserve to the Church of the Resurrection. The last few metres then lead back to the rose garden.
