A very special event awaits hikers on August 7: "Counting ponds today" in the picturesque region around Detmold-Hiddesen and Pivitsheide. This exciting hike of around 18 kilometers starts at 8:40 am at Kronenplatz in Detmold. The return is at around 3:30 pm from Pivitsheide V.H. on the Brautlacht bus - an experience that is sure to be unforgettable.
The route leads through the idyllic Lippe countryside, lined with a multitude of ponds, which are the focus of attention on this day. Annegret and Georg Jenkner, experienced guides, lead this fascinating discovery tour and share their in-depth knowledge of the local flora and fauna. In the midst of nature, participants have the unique opportunity to experience the importance of this ecosystem up close.
