The Weaving Mill Museum Höfen accommodates a piece of historic industrial culture from the North Eifel: Four of the last remaining looms from the time of the small weaving mills in the Altkries Monschau. The waged weavers located in Höfen, Konzen or Roetgen, among other locations, particularly worked for the cloth factories in the Aachen region up to the 70s of the 20th century.
The Weaving Museum in Höfen houses a piece of industrial cultural history from the Nordeifel: four of the last remaining looms from the era of small weaving mills in the old district of Monschau. The contract weaving mills, located in Höfen, Konzen, and Roetgen, operated until the 1970s primarily for fabric factories in the Aachen area.
The exhibition showcases four looms and two spool machines that are fully operational and will be demonstrated during the visit.
