SatOne's works defy all possibilities of interpretation. As in the mural created in Cologne-Nippes in 2013, seemingly human features and forms can be recognised without being able to place them in any further context, because everything is in the flow of colours and dissolves. The artwork therefore functions on an instinctive level that arises in connection with the immediate urban space.

Born in Venezuela in 1977 and living in Munich since 1979, the artist Rafael Gerlach is not only known for his activity as a street artist. His work also includes paintings that seamlessly tie in with his street art style.

Direction

The SatOne mural is centrally located in Cologne-Nippes. The Cologne district can be reached by DB S-Bahn trains, among others. The S6 and S11 trains stop at 'Köln-Nippes'. From there it is a 750 metre walk.
Alternatively, lines 12 and 15 of the Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe can also be used to get to the 'Florastraße' stop. From there, the distance is also approx. 750 metres.
