The Lieserpfad hiking trail stage 2 leads from Daun to Manderscheid

Right at the start of Lieserpfad stage 2, one of the highlights of the hike through the Eifel awaits: the Gemünden maar lies quiet and tranquil, surrounded by tall trees. The trail continues in peace and solitude, as this section runs through green meadows in the Lieser valley and later through sparse oak groves. This stage ends with another highlight: the rocky path above the river and the castles of Manderscheid.
