The festival grounds by the Kyll in Gerolstein will once again become the fairground on the last weekend of July. From Friday, July 25 to Monday, July 28, the fair will provide entertainment daily until the evening hours.

Funfair
The fair's funfair will again be set up at the two large festival grounds by the Kyll as well as the former post parking lot. Many attractions will bring the special fair atmosphere to Gerolstein. There is something for everyone's taste. In addition to rides like Break Dance, bumper cars, and the disc washer, fair visitors can again expect classics like the "Children’s Loop" with colorful Disney-style designs, the children's carousel "Treasure Island," and numerous skill booths. This year, new to the lineup – the haunted house "Walk of Dead."
Of course, roasted almonds, chocolate-covered fruits, crepes, and churros will sweeten the fair visit, and those who prefer savory can opt for currywurst fries, pizza, potato pancakes, and spit roast. An absolute highlight this year will also be the Ferris wheel, which offers fantastic views over Gerolstein and the fairground.

Fair Opening:
The fair will be opened on Friday, July 25, at 7:30 PM with the traditional tapping of the keg by Mayor Steffi Lorisch, accompanied by the cannon shot of the city soldiers and a musical performance by Gina-Marie Lenzen. This will be followed by free beer distribution (while supplies last).

Live Music Stage and Beer Garden by the Kyll:
After a stroll through the fair, a music stage with a beer garden and a large live music program in front of the train station invites visitors. Among others, the bands "Sky Dynamo" (Friday evening), "Corona" (Saturday evening), and "timeless livemusik" (Monday evening) will perform. Guests can look forward to lively musical evenings here. The beer garden above the Kyll, with a view of the Munterley Rock, invites for cozy gatherings and chatting.

Markets:
Another focus will be the markets at the fountain square, featuring a family flea market on Saturday and a flea market on Sunday.

Family Sunday
On Monday, there will again be discounts at many fair booths and rides for families. Additionally, this year, as a highlight, there will be children's entertainment with Uwe Reetz at 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. With captivating melodies, wild dance sequences, and clever magic tricks, children can really let loose with Uwe. Furthermore, great motifs await the kids at the face painting booth.
As a highlight on Sunday: the duck race makes its comeback! On fair Sunday, around 1,000 squeaky yellow rubber ducks will be released into the water at 3 PM. In favor of SG Kylltal, they will compete in an exciting race on the Kyll.

Dolomites in Flames
The fair traditionally ends on Monday evening at 10:15 PM under the motto "Dolomites in Flames" with a breathtaking fireworks display!
