"We celebrate our city" continues!
In summer 2025, the big anniversary city theater spectacle will take place on Lübbeck's market square.
On three evenings, the history of Lübbecke will be told on the marketplace stage specially developed for
this event. Mario Holetzeck, the long-standing
acting director of the Cottbus State Theatre, and the
dramaturge Franziska Fuhlrott from the Sozietätstheater Dresden have been researching in Lübbecke in recent months
and have also prepared this spectacle together with the
choreographer Gundula Peuthert from Leipzig:
With lots of music, dance and a loving look at the historical stations and the people for whom Lübbecke was home.
The experienced creative team will work with people interested in Lübbecke - amateur actors, musicians, dancers, clubs, school theater groups and theater helpers - to find their very own interpretations of Lübbecke's history and stories and present them on the following dates:
