On the Whitsun weekend, June 7 & 8, 2025, the picturesque Eifel in Birgel opens its gates once again for a special experience weekend.
Whitsun Saturday, June 7, 2025: The music event Trumpets & Trombones starts at 5:00 PM with the "Battle of the Brass Bands," featuring performances by the MV Daleiden and the Büdesheimer Musicants. At 7:00 PM, "Wellblech Sauerland" will warm up the crowd, before the main act "Fäaschtbänkler" rocks the stage at 8:30 PM.
Whitsun Sunday, June 8, 2025: A large stage program awaits visitors at the Tannenhof and Bielenhof-Alm, featuring MV Ammeldingen, the Alphorn Rebels, children's musician Uwe Reetz, and exciting live Highland games. At the same time, the Historic Watermill Birgel offers musical entertainment from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as fascinating mill tours and brewery insights. The Bielenhof-Alm provides a diverse program for young and old. Camp Tannenhof invites groups of 2-6 people to participate in the Highland Games – from axe throwing to cobblestone tossing. The local community of Birgel also invites guided hikes in the hiking area Hirschbergsattel. A shuttle service connects all event locations.
