Round hike of the Eifel Association Waxweiler on the Eifel loop Moor Path Dahlem
The Eifelverein OG Waxweiler invites you to a circular hike near Dahlem on the "Eifelschleife Moorpfad".
Hiking distance: approx. 10 km, ascent/descent: 126 m, easy
The moor area “Wasserdell” is still one of the few healthy moors in Germany and a habitat for unique flora and fauna. The highlight of this EifelSchleife is therefore the small moor loop as part of the route. Step by step, you walk on wooden planks directly through the beautifully developed moor landscape, passing heathland and peat bogs as well as buckthorn bushes.
A concluding meal in the Zehntscheune in Kronenburg is planned.
