For more than 27 years now, the five pop-jazz-latin-polka-folk-chansonniers have been on the road in the name of Mediterranean joie de vivre, proving time and again in their concerts that the Italian is in all of us, if only we want to. The songs on their now 10 CDs encourage you to dance, but also cater for the soul thirsting for melancholy. There's not a dry eye in the house, not a still foot and not a slack diaphragm when Ombre di Luci sing their canzoni, all of which they have composed themselves.
