"Picnic with the Romans" - the family Sunday at the Roman Museum

The legionnaires of Legio XIX show what they can do in Roman cuisine. Visitors can try Roman bread from the field oven and relax with a picnic on the museum grounds.

Children can make their own Roman silver cups from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00 and adults can make their own herbal salt.

Two guided tours round off the family Sunday:

11 a.m. "Living, eating, drinking in the Roman camp" for families with children aged 8 and over

2 p.m. "Kalle in search of a home" for children aged 5 and over.

The film "Kalle, the museum mole" can be seen all day in the museum cinema.
