Over the years, photography has become more and more a part of Annemarie Berlin's life.
She is particularly passionate about macro, landscape and travel photography. Her pictures have won prizes in national and international competitions.
In 2019, for example, she was awarded first prize in the "Travel and Culture" category in a competition in Vienna in which more than 440000 photographers from 140 countries took part. she shows her pictures in exhibitions, gives workshops in close-up and macro photography and takes her audience on her travels in live multivision lectures.
Uschi Dillmann's pictures in restrained colours fascinate the viewer and show the vitality of her pictures, bringing art and nature into harmony. Her motifs originate mainly from nature and travelling experiences. Pictures such as a dandelion in full bloom, in contrast to the stem with a blown-off flower or a human head opposite an animal head, light feathers opposite hard stones are painted with acrylic colours. She uses brushes of various widths, supplemented with oil pastels.
Uschi Dillmann lives in Münster, is a visual artist and a member of the Association of International Artists. She passes on her knowledge of painting techniques to art classes in primary schools and in workshops for children and adults. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions, including at the Kunst- und Galeriehaus Bochum, Galerie MeerSinn in Prerow, Kunstverein Steinfurt, Kunstmarkt Phönixsee and Bad Bentheim.
