The Coffee Roasting Process
Unlike large coffee roasting companies, the Dauner Coffee Roastery roasts small batches of 5 to 10 kg at temperatures around 200°C and with long roasting times of between 15 and 25 minutes. In addition to the selection of fine raw coffee, the gentle roasting process is particularly beneficial for developing the fine aromatic components and the digestibility of the coffees. Coffee is a fresh product. Therefore, the Dauner Coffee Roastery roasts at least two to three times a week. On Mondays and Thursdays from 10 AM to 12 PM, interested parties are warmly invited to watch. You will also learn interesting facts about coffee from food technologist Hans Richarz-Hilberg.
