The Stadtmühlenbucht is located on the northern shore of the Haltern reservoir. There you will not only find the sailing boat harbour of many different sailing clubs, but also several restaurants. A water playground for children provides variety and benches and seating groups invite you to take a break. You can watch the hustle and bustle on and around the water in a wonderful ambience. A large car park is located at the corner of Hellweg/Strandallee; bicycle parking facilities for cyclists are located in the immediate vicinity of the water.
