Notice regarding the guest contribution:
To promote regional tourism, overnight guests in accommodation establishments of the Verbandsgemeinde Gerolstein have been required to pay a guest contribution of €0.75 per person per night since January 1, 2024. Children aged 0-5 years and business and educational travelers are exempt from the fee.
The guest contribution is not included in the booking price, is collected separately by the accommodation, and forwarded to the Verbandsgemeinde Gerolstein.

Notes, equipment, and our services:
Maximum occupancy of the chalet is 4 persons (2 bedrooms each with a double bed)
All prices include the costs for electricity, central heating, water, towels, bed linens, parking, Wi-Fi, as well as waste disposal and final cleaning
Check-in is contactless via a key safe
Pets are unfortunately not allowed
Large cherry blossom bedroom: The double bed has a width of 180 cm and a length of 200 cm
Small cuddle bedroom: The 180 cm wide double bed is slightly shorter (190 cm long) than usual due to the location, and one has to crawl over the open foot end to get into bed
Comfortable pocket spring mattresses, comforters, and pillows with high-quality filling made from synthetic fibers (down-free and allergy-friendly)
The beds are made upon your arrival. Fresh bed linens will be provided free of charge upon request once a week
Towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth as a set per person) will be changed twice a week depending on the duration of your stay
Covered terrace with seating area, sun/ privacy protection, and lighting
Garden area with a relaxation lounger, garden furniture, and parasol
Locked outdoor storage room with storage options and a small selection of tools for bicycles
Free parking directly at the chalet on the property (there is enough space on the premises for a trailer or caravan. The parking area is unpaved)
Two charging stations for electric vehicles are located in the village, about 300 - 400 m from the chalet
Underfloor heating; cozy stove
Child high chair available upon request

Cancellation fees:
The guest has no right to free cancellation. In case of cancellation, the guest is obliged to pay a part of the agreed price as compensation. The amount of compensation is based on the following breakdown:
Cancellation
Within 3 days after booking: free cancellation
21 to 8 days before the start of the rental: 50% of the rental price
7 to 3 days before the start of the rental: 80% of the rental price
No-show: 90% of the rental price
A cancellation must also be made in writing.

The EifelChalet is available from 3 PM on the day of arrival.
If you plan an earlier arrival, this might be possible in individual cases and only by prior arrangement. We need the time between the departure of the previous guests and your arrival to prepare the chalet for you.
The key handover can take place contactlessly through a secure key safe next to the front door. The code for the key safe will be provided to you no later than 24 hours before the start of your stay. This code is valid only for you and only for the duration of your vacation with us. Please do not change the combination. Subsequent guests will receive their own code for the key safe.
If we are at home, we would be happy to hand over the keys personally.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the holiday home by 10 AM in a broom-clean condition.
